Description

NGC 602 is a cluster of blue stars in the Small Magellanic Cloud, is  imaged in Narrowband and RGB. The immediate area around NGC 602 to the left of the frame was formed when a large gas cloud collapsed under gravity and became very dense. The very high levels of radiation from the young blue stars have sculpted the nebular region.
Imaged in RGB H alpha and Oxygen III on the Planewave DR 350 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.
Image Data and pre processing: Mike Selby at throughlightandtime.com

I started with an RGB image, and separated the channels and blended Ha with R and OIII with B and re combined. Stars are RGB. It took some trials to get the details in the nebulosity. Was challenging with the star density but I thought they added a glow and depth to the image so did not want to reduce them too much.
